Michael W. Hoog
Mr. Hoog serves as Of Counsel to Hensley Kim & Holzer,
LLC, focusing on general business transactions, commercial
litigation, government relations and regulatory law. He has
represented client interests before congress, federal agencies,
and state and local governments on issues ranging from technology
policy and procurement to energy policy, natural resources
rights, royalties and environmental compliance.
Mr. Hoog was formerly a principal in the law firm of Seman
Hoog, PC. Prior to that he was an attorney in the Denver
office of the Washington, D.C. based law firm of Patton Boggs,
where he counseled clients on general business matters and
designed and implemented lobbying, procurement and public
policy initiatives for the firm’s national and global
clients. Mr. Hoog is also currently a principal at Corporate
Advocates, Inc., a public relations and lobbying firm.
In 1998, President Clinton appointed Mr. Hoog to the American
Heritage Rivers Advisory Committee. He also served a term
on the Colorado Council on the Arts and is the past Chair
of Arts for Colorado.
A former minor league pitcher in the Atlanta Braves organization,
Mr. Hoog holds several career pitching records and a Political
Science degree from the University of North Carolina. He
received his law degree from the University of Colorado.
