John P.J. Kim
Mr. Kim’s practice emphasizes corporate,
securities, financings and general business law. He has significant
experience with public and private offerings of debt and equity,
mergers and acquisitions, asset sales and purchases, initial
public offerings, SEC disclosure and technology agreements.
Mr. Kim has:
- Represented companies and investors in private venture
capital and debt financings totaling over $200 million;
- Counseled companies, underwriters and investment banks
in public equity and debt
offerings totaling over $2.4 billion;
- Advised clients in mergers, acquisitions,
asset sales and purchases, LBOs and “going
private” transactions valued at over $1 billion;
- Assisted clients on
Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and other SEC compliance issues; and
- Represented
clients in purchasing and selling technology and structuring
license
agreements.
Mr. Kim began his legal career with Shearman & Sterling
in San Francisco before joining Brobeck Phleger & Harrison’s
Colorado office in 2000. He holds a law degree from UCLA. |
