Peter B. Scull
Mr. Scull has practiced Intellectual Property (IP) law for over a decade. A vast majority of his practice has been spent with medical technologies, including work with medical device, biotech and pharmaceutical inventions. As a registered patent attorney, Mr. Scull continues to draft and prosecute patent applications in a variety of technical areas, including mechanical, computer, and electronics technologies. He is also heavily involved in trademark, trade secret, and copyright protection as well as in licensing, litigation support and due diligence activities. He provides client counseling and opinion preparation in any of these intellectual property regimes. Mr Scull has:

• Participated in the prosecution of hundreds of patents, trademarks and copyrights.
• Defended patent and trademark applications in inter partes administrative interference and opposition proceedings.
• Provided licensing, due diligence and infringement litigation support in a variety of multi-million dollar matters.
• Developed an extensive international practice providing IP services for domestic clients seeking to enter international markets as well as providing American protections for extra-nationally based clientele.
• Worked with a major multi-national corporation to provide in-house intellectual property guidance and procurement services in the medical device, pharmaceutical and health services fields.
• Provided intellectual property services to multiple universities, particularly in the acquisition of patents for cancer drugs.
• Provided presentations and counseled numerous start-up businesses, entrepreneurs and university groups on the basics of Intellectual Property protection.

Mr. Scull obtained his law degree from the College of Law of the University of Arizona, and his mechanical engineering degree from Colorado State University. He is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and is a member of the state and federal bars in both the states and federal districts of Colorado and Arizona. Previous practice associations have included Dahl & Osterloth, LLP, in Denver Colorado and the Law Offices of Richard R. Mybeck in Scottsdale, Arizona. He also worked as an Intellectual Property Attorney and Assistant General Counsel for Gambro, Inc. (formerly known as Cobe Laboratories, Inc.), in Lakewood, Colorado.
