Ryan Warren resolves corporate and construction disputes. He advises clients, negotiates on their behalf, and represents them in litigation when necessary. Mr. Warren litigates cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants; having experience on both sides of the 'fence' provides Mr. Warren unique insights into the strategies of his opponent. Mr. Warren began his career as a Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Disability Rights Section. That experience provides him unique abilities to help businesses and organizations assess their compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as to defend against ADA claims. Mr. Warren is a voting member of the Colorado Association of Home Builder's Government Affairs Committee and has been retained to represent the association in legal matters. He is also a member of the
Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Community Associations Institute which represents Home Owner's Associations. Mr. Warren was a frequent lecturer for the Justice Department and has continued in private practice, instructing on business and construction
related issues.
Mr. Warren graduated Juris Doctor, 1997, Ohio Northern University College of Law. He received his undergraduate degree, with an emphasis in writing, in 1992 at George Mason University.
Mr. Warren's previous accomplishments include:
- Successful defense of a large earth-grading company accused of improperly compacting the soils under an entire neighborhood. Proved the grader was not
responsible for movement that was occurring.
- Successfully represented homeowners whose builder left the project 75% complete and then brought improper claims of non-payment against the homeowners. The
builder completed the homeowner's home and all claims against the homeowners were withdrawn.
- Successfully co-represented a national developer in recovering millions of dollars improperly withheld by its insurers after a fire destroyed its building.
- Successfully negotiated a very favorable separation package for a high-level executive from a fortune 500 company after a dispute arose between the two stemming from allegations of ADA violations.
- Successfully represented a surgeon in a nearby western state in a multi-million dollar dispute with a hospital and physician practice group involving intentional interference with contract claims.
